Join a cohort of community leaders looking to grow their leadership in Stockton and greater San Joaquin County.
This fellowship is open to all current and former AmeriCorps service members serving in Stockton or San Joaquin County, as well as Stockton and San Joaquin County community members ages 18–26. It is intended to support service members, alumni, and emerging leaders seeking to understand the various functions of government that impact the systemic conditions and current realities of our community. Awareness is the first step to contextualizing our experiences.
This fellowship will bring people together to learn, build context, and gain clarity on our local government. It’s a great fit for those interested in learning and absorbing context.
Participants who complete the fellowship will have the opportunity to earn a $500 stipend.

We aim to support our partners by providing differentiated services that broaden the capacity and sustainability of their programmatic work overall.
We are dedicated to fostering meaningful experiences for all participants. We intentionally create spaces where participants can reflect on their experiences, empowering individuals to understand their impact and drive positive change in our community.
We mobilize our local Service Alumni to continue community transformation beyond their service term. We cultivate a thriving intergenerational network that supports each other, local initiatives, and service.
We collaborate with local institutions, businesses, government, and organizations to help increase pathways from service to career, while increasing the workforce development skills of our Fellows, Alumni, & volunteers.
We empower our participants to understand Stockton’s civic ecosystem, fostering informed engagement. By connecting people to resources and networks, we strengthen civic participation and community impact.
