Service Fellows typically serve for 10-12 months depending on which program they choose. During the year of service, we connect Service Fellows with a wide range of network support and resources. We work closely with AmeriCorps and volunteer cohort programs in providing leadership development and learning opportunities for fellows to have a unique experience. Not only would you be serving with your program, you get the opportunity to connect and engage with fellows from other programs through Stockton Service Corps programs.

During the year of service, Service Fellows have access to some of the benefits that includes member living allowance, educational award, alumni network, loan forbearance and deferment, and professional development. The benefits vary based on the program you serve with.
AmeriCorps and volunteer cohort members play a key role in providing members the opportunity to be the agent of change in their community. Meanwhile, Stockton Service Corps utilize this momentum to accelerate their experience through our unique programs contextualized in Stockton’s past, present, and future. In addition, our Service Fellows get the opportunity to connect with members from other service programs outside of their project site and experience the collective action of working towards improving our community.
Service Fellows serve between 10 to 12 months depending on the program. The commitment is ranged between part-time and full-time. Part-Time is equivalent to 15 to 35 hours per week and Full-Time is equivalent to 40 hours per week.
